Artisan Café
Quince and Clover On The Square is a relaxed café in the beautiful market square of Deddington, delivering a small thoughtful seasonal menu for breakfast, brunch, lunch and not forgetting our fabulous in house produced ice cream. We have a beautiful shop counter packed with breakfast pastries, always homemade, artisan cakes, cookies, sausage rolls and fabulous seasonal focaccia and salad boxes. We combine seasonal fruit and vegetables with high welfare meats, responsibly sourced seafood, free range eggs and amazing sourdough breads into a few of our café classics, plus our own favourite things to eat. Our menus are designed to be take out, something ‘to go’ as we have limited indoor seating though there is plenty of space on our outdoor terrace.
Alongside our cafés ‘On The Square’ and ‘At Great Tew’ we can also cater for events either direct from our Great Tew kitchen or for larger events, weddings and fabulous parties please check out our event catering team.

Origin coffee
Our house brand coffee direct from the roastery in Porthlevan, Cornwall.
Resolute, our house blend is available to buy in retail packs as whole beans, cafetière grind and decaffeinated – please ask in-store.
Breakfast + brunch
Açai berry bowls, fresh fruit smoothies and juice of the day, toasted oat granola, overnight oats, porridge pots, avocado toast, free range bacon and not forgetting our grilled sausage, cheese and marmite ciabatta.
Our shop counter is packed with homemade cakes, cookies and breakfast pastries.
We squeeze fresh juices, ginger turmeric shots and blend fruit smoothies to order.
Lunchtime
Seasonal soups and Cornish fish stew pots, slow roasted meats in grilled ciabatta our menu is small but using beautiful local produce that is served as takeaway, limited seating available inside and plenty of room on our outside terrace.
We make daily changing deep filled focaccia sandwiches and salad bowls using pulses, grains, roasted, pickled, spiced, charred, marinated, preserved veggies, slow roasted high welfare meats and smoked or cured fish from sustainable sources
Ice cream
We have our own ice cream brand, The North Cotswold Ice Cream Company, producing delicious ice cream using local Cotswold cream and whole milk. We make the classics with indulgent ingredients and a few slightly more unusual flavours that we have loved whilst on our travels.
Don’t miss out on our ice cream milkshakes, just choose your favourite flavour and we blend 3 scoops with some lovely North Cotswold Dairy milk.
Cakes + cookies
We always have a variety of baked goods displayed on our shop counter. Alongside our café classics, we love trying new recipes using different ingredients.
We sell round, loaf and square cakes by the portion though with a little notice, we can produce these as whole cakes for you to buy and take out.
Picnics by Quince and Clover
We provide fully prepared picnics hamper bags for you to order for collection from our café On The Square in Deddington. Our picnics are designed as a sharing selection of our daily menu items and are beautifully presented.
Our Picnic menu requires 3 working days notice to arrange time for our kitchen team to prepare, the hamper bags are set up for a minimum of 2 guests and need to be ordered in multiples of 2 please. We offer a free range meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan option and our are preferred collection time is after 10.30am

We pride ourselves on offering imaginative catering solutions for your event, wedding or party. We work closely with you and your planning team to create a seamless event day, usually the first onsite and the last to leave.
We work quite differently to most catering businesses often taking on more responsibility than just delicious food, we provide a complete food and beverage offer to include fabulous cocktails, assist with table design, all aspects of equipment hire and we can also recommend other suppliers which we know would help turn your event ideas into reality.
